Do You Qualify for DACA in 2026?
Many people in Compton, Los Angeles, Long Beach, and Inglewood are unsure whether they still qualify for DACA in 2026. The requirements have specific cutoff dates and conditions that affect eligibility.

To qualify for DACA you must have arrived in the United States before your 16th birthday and before June 15, 2007. You must have been physically present in the US on June 15, 2012 and continuously since then. You must not have a felony conviction, a significant misdemeanor, or three or more other misdemeanors.
You must currently be in school, have graduated or obtained a certificate of completion from high school, have obtained a GED, or be an honorably discharged veteran of the Coast Guard or Armed Forces of the United States.
Age requirements: you must have been under 31 years of age as of June 15, 2012. There is currently no upper age limit to renew if you already have DACA.
DACA remains in active litigation in 2026. USCIS continues processing renewals for existing recipients under court orders. If you are unsure whether your specific situation qualifies, a consultation with an attorney is the only way to know for certain.
